Lagos, a fast growing city




A television report from Lagos in Nigeria on how the city's spiralling population has increased the numbers living in slums.

Formerly the capital of Nigeria, Lagos's uncontrolled population growth has made one of the world's largest cities one of the world's largest slums.


Changing the landscape

People are changing the landscape. People affect the development of a landscape. Why?

There are two reasons:

1 - areas and landscapes change because the population in the area grows.

2 - the areas and the landscapes change because the wealth grows.
